Pamplemousse Jus, one of our favourite producers in the Okanagan, is a collaborative project between three friends: longtime Vancouver hospitality professional James Langford Smith, sparkling wine wizard Jordan Kubek, and her husband Tyler. Fun fact: James actually crashed Jordan and Tyler’s wedding 14 years ago and they literally had no idea who he even was. He was just some random Aussie dude. NOW, they are business partners, making some seriously fun and expressive wines in the Okanagan. This is traditional or champagne method Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris. Organic fruit, wild ferment. Pinot Gris is a super aromatic grape bringing some beautiful fruity and floral aromas on the nose and palate. Pinot Noir gives us red berries and structure. Super refreshing, bursting with apple (Granny smith), fresh pineapple, key lime pie, raspberry, and savoury brioche notes on the back palate with peaches and clover. Refreshing sparkling that is perfect on its’ own or maybe with orange juice in it. Pair it with pancakes, pastries, and fruit.
